The 'Bang' heard 'round the world

I was really surprised, and excited, when one of my physician co-workers told me he loves playing Bang! This was the first time I'd ever met anyone that knew how to play the game with no association with Canaan. I thought that was pretty cool.

So I was curious as to who told him about the game. This is where it gets crazy. My co-worker learned it from his cousin, who learned it from her brother, who learned it from me when he came up to visit Northern California. He's one of E's maternal cousins, and as luck would have it, also turns out to be my co-workers paternal cousin. So the circle of Bang! is now complete. Small world.
