Happy 2006!

Unlike most holidays, New Years isn't a day set aside to remember a past event, like say Christmas, Presidents' Day or the 4th of July. It's only special because it marks the 1st day of the new year. But it's precisely because it represents the beginning of the next 365 calendar days of your life that many see what we do on that day as setting a pattern for the year to come. So what better way to usher in the new year than with food, fun, and friends?

For the Canaan crowd, the place to be was Kittoe house. (Being a bachelor pad with little furniture, there really isn't anywhere else we could go that would fit us all comfortably anyways. Thanks guys!). The party naturally divided itself up into little "stations", though of course we all got together for the final midnight countdown.
