All settled

Well, I've been in SoCal for a week now, and it's pretty amazing how slowly time can drag on, when you don't know anyone in the area, and you don't have anything to do. Fortunately, the moving van arrived today, and I spent all day unpacking.

Rather than move back into my old room upstairs, I decided to take the guest room downstairs. The upstairs room, which had been my room for almost 20 years, shares the same wall as my parents' room, and I figured that they wouldn't want to be disturbed when I come home at all sorts of weird hours.

Of course, that meant clearing out the guest room first in order that all my stuff could fit in. My mom wasn't too happy about having to find new places to store everything, but in the end, I think we were able to do it, and throw away a lot of useless junk, too.

My parents' had a wedding to attend today, so I was left home alone. But that was just perfect for me, because I was able to unpack and rearrange without distraction all day.

And yeah, it took all day. As you can see, it's night now. I even moved my bed from my room upstairs down here by myself, so I can start sleeping here from now on. Oh boy, I know I'm going to be pretty sore tomorrow. But yay! all settled =D Such a good feeling.

hahah.. i like how you unpacked the 'necessities' (e.g., computer, etc) first before everything else. I have a picture of me doing the exact same thing while the rest of the room was still a sty. priorities, priorities... but, you seem to have unpacked very quickly! kudos!

It is a cozy place for sleeping.Luckily, you do not have much materias.
