Family Christmas

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Because the grandkids were here, my parents decided to throw a 'traditional' Christmas gathering at our house, with a tree and gifts and everything. I think the last time we did anything like that, I was a little kid myself.






Even at 2 1/2, David knew all about Christmas presents. Even though it was late, he refused to go to sleep until we opened all the presents. So we indulged him, and finished dinner a little early to go open presents.







In total, my sister, brother-in-law, and their 2 kids, David and Trinity stayed with us for 2 weeks, staying for both Christmas and New Year's. They just left to go back to Florida today, and wow, it is sooooo quiet in the house now. I already miss them.
