Stay out of the hospitals, 'cuz the fresh, new interns all started today.

When I arrived on the floors today, I watched the frantic young doctor shuffling desperately through piles of paperwork trying to keep up with her attendings questions. The frazzled hair, the apologetic smile, the deer-in-the-headlights look. I recognized all the signs and symptoms of being fresh-out-of-med-school.

And I can say this because that's exactly how I felt my first month of internship. Except, for my first month, they put me in the ICU. Hahahaha, the fools.
